AMCAI Aero Club: Discovery Flights, Simulator Labs and Aviation STEM
The Aero Club is the student aviation program of the American Center for Aviation Innovation (AMCAI), a Miami 501(c)(3) public charity. AMCAI runs the club and covers its costs, so qualifying students in grades 6–12 take part at no charge. American High School Academy is our partner school, and students from other participating schools take part as well.
The club connects classroom learning to real aviation. Through discovery flights, flight simulator labs and aviation-focused STEM events, students get early, hands-on exposure to the aviation and aerospace industry, develop leadership, build technical skill, and join a community of students who share the same interest.
Purpose
The Aero Club turns academic concepts into real-world aviation experience. From simulator missions to guest speaker sessions, members gain practical skills, career insight and personal growth in a hands-on environment.

Who can join
Students in grades 6–12 enrolled in the Aviation STEM program at American High School Academy, our partner school, or at an AMCAI-affiliated partner school.
Cost: free for all qualifying students. No dues and no fees — AMCAI covers them.
How to join: sign up during Aviation STEM class orientation, or speak with the program coordinator at your campus.
Students and families who are not at one of our partner schools can email admin@amcai.org to ask about current openings.
