AMCAI Skill Passport: Courses & Badges
AMCAI Skill Passport Coming soon
Every badge tells part of the story.
The AMCAI Skill Passport records what a student learned, what they built, what they did for their community and where they are heading, through short courses and evidence-based skill badges issued by AMCAI.
AMCAI short courses, student login and skill badges are launching soon.
A passport shows the route, not a pile of stickers

Discover → Learn → Build → Demonstrate → Lead → Serve. A student’s passport shows progression along this path, not a random collection of icons.
How a badge is earned
Scan it and see exactly what was earned
An AMCAI badge is not an attendance sticker. Each one states the skill demonstrated, the earning criteria, the project or activity completed, the evidence or assessment behind it, the issue date and AMCAI as the issuer, and it can be verified. Where it fits, a mentor or instructor validates the work.
Every AMCAI badge carries a verification link. Open it, or scan the QR code on a shared badge, to see who issued it, what the student accomplished, how it was earned and the skill it represents. Badge verification opens when the first AMCAI courses launch.
What an AMCAI badge is not. AMCAI badges recognize learning in AMCAI programs. They are not an FAA certificate or license, a professional license, a government certification or college credit. “FAA Part 107 Preparation” means preparation for the FAA exam; the FAA credential itself is earned separately from the FAA. Outside credentials a student earns are shown separately.
Student privacy. Most of our students are minors. Student profiles and project evidence are private by default. Nothing is shared publicly without parent or guardian consent, and a verification page shows only what is appropriate for that credential and approved for sharing.

Pair badges with free AMCAI curricula
AMCAI’s short courses sit alongside our Free STEM Curricula for Schools and the two AMCAI-sponsored STEM Labs already operating at American High School Academy. Schools must register before the start of the school year in which they intend to use the curricula.
