The Aviation High School Aero Club, a division of AMCAI, is a student-led initiative that complements the Aviation and Aerospace STEM programs at American High School Academy (AHSA) and other participating schools. It connects students with the aviation industry through real-world experiences, hands-on training, and peer-driven exploration.

The mission of the Aero Club is to inspire and empower students in Aviation and Aerospace STEM pathways by linking classroom learning to real-world applications. Through discovery flights, simulator labs, and aviation-focused STEM events, the club gives students early exposure to the aviation and aerospace industry, promotes leadership development, encourages technical growth, and builds a supportive community of future innovators.

Purpose

The Aero Club enhances students’ educational journey by transforming academic concepts into real-world aviation experiences. From flight simulator missions to guest speaker sessions, members gain valuable skills, career insight, and personal growth in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Open to students in grades 6–12 enrolled in AHSA’s Aviation STEM program or AMCAI-affiliated partner schools.
